Hey all you Schaut Speed Racing fans out there!
I apologize for the current lack of updates and sweet pictures in the majority of my blog posts… I recently got some help cleaning up the web address (yay! no more /blog required to get to the blog!), but in getting that help, almost all of my pictures disappeared.
And then 2 days later, before I had a chance to correct things, the hard drive on my old computer crashed…. I guess 6 One Laps and numerous trips to race tracks was a few too many! I’m waiting for an awesome new replacement to show up. Unfortunately since I didn’t save all my necessary blog information onto my external hard-drive (doh!), I probably wont be able to get all those pics back up until the new computer shows up, and I don’t want to post any more pics up until I know for sure where they are going!
But…. Stay tuned. Lots of progress (and pics!) on the Chump car(s) and some VERY EXCITING news regarding the One Lap of America!!!!
Its come to my attention that some of my posts were not readable. It is a formatting issue. It appears to be a problem with copying content over from Office Word into the blog. Anyone using Internet explorer is most likely having issues with posts that I wrote in word and copied over (not all were done that way). I didn’t know if was a problem since Firefox and whatever the Google phones use (Google Chrome?) do not have the formatting issues.
I’m in process of updating the problematic posts…. hopefully it will all be corrected soon. But in the meantime (and from here-on-out), I highly recommend Mozilla Firefox for browsing…. It just works better!
All right. This is just my opinion, but I have to say that this generation of BMW M3, the E90 sedan, might just have to be the greatest overall package car in the world. Well, at least out of the cars that I have had the pleasure to drive (and the ones that were not quite a pleasure.. ahem, ‘87 Buick Century - your purpose in life was to make this M3 that much better…).
Comfortable , easy to drive around the city, great for cruising on the highway, room for 3 of your friends plus stuff (or 1 good friend and 3 so-so or small friends), sexy looks, superb motor with breath-taking and smooth power delivery and a sweet exhaust sound (maybe a bit quiet…). It is composed when driven hard in the wet and increadibly easy to drive REALLY fast on a dry track with spectacular handling, neutral balance and controls that seem connected to your sub-concious mind.
Basically, the greatest car in the world!
Can ya tell I like it? Hum… I must have had some fun at Sebring today…
And I think I need to find a way to make one mine…
